The Maryland Zoo – Lion Exhibit

As part of the African Journey Expansion project Alliance installed large Heavy Tempered Glass panels as part of the African Journey Expansion at the Baltimore Zoo. Each panel came in at over 2000 lbs and had to be meticulously installed – that’s 1 ton per piece! Despite the ultra-clear low iron glass, don’t be too scared to get up close to the Lions, as there are three layers of 1/2″ glass laminated between you.
